seems like summer is having a hard time getting going here in Europe with the extended cool, wet spring weather that needs to be shown the exit door… But the forecast looks sunny and bright with some cool events just around the bend.

Bike Festival Willingen

for the second year running we will be part of the Bike Festival in Willingen with our Short Track Championships. Riders can still register at the expo office up to 30 min prior to the start of the first qualifying heat. The qualifying rounds start at 7:30 pm with the semis, last chance qualifier and finals to follow immediately. Awards will be handed out directly after the finals.

If you are still unsure what short track is all about, here is a flash back to last year’s event in Willingen.

Also stop by our stand to check out all of the latest from CremaCycles, Chris King and Cielo to include some sweet new rides and of course great espresso drinks!

Single Speed over the Breitenberg

The following weekend we will place host to a single speed race in the heart of Allgaeu with delicious local brew to follow – hence the name Ein Mass Rennen – or One Beer Race. We are sending single speeds out onto the course with the geared marathon racers for the short course to see who is fast around and up and over the Breitenberg in Pfronten. Those with a super iron will (and legs) can tackle the folding bike Worlds, an accent on the Breitenberg from the front side in the morning before hitting the single speed race at noon. Prizes and beers to follow.

if your looking for a little motivation to hit either the Klapprad WM (folding bike Worlds) or the single speed event – here is some inspiration:

Looking forward to seeing everyone out there as things start to heat up, it will be an awesome summer!
